The storytelling and writing in Sons of Anarchy is BLOWING MY MIND.  Very Shakespearean even. Good writing always gets me to love all these socially deviant characters, just like the Sopranos or the Wire haha.  Bikers, mobsters, gangsters, love’em. Or with Friday Night Lights, popular/hot/white/straight people.  THAT was most surprising, actually.
